My first 1st Gaia drawing

This is my first drawing of me with my pet "Gwee the Dragon". Gwee the Dragon, which can be found in the market place, was in the August 2006" Thank you letter" that I bought in the market place for Gaia Gold. Thank you letters are sent to members that contribute $2.50 to the site which they use to keep everything going. The site is free and contributions are totally voluntary. Items you get in the "thank you letters" are available for one month only. So the only way to get them is through the market lace or by trading with other members.

This was before I went to the salon and changed my hair. The hairstyle was my original choice when I first created my avatar. The outfit is not available at the Gaian shops. This drawing was done with "Sharpie" colored markers and Prismacolors' "Verithin" pencil colors on paper in a sketch book. Let's see how much I improve over time as we shall we.

Other members in my favorites are found in my vlog and are also available at my Google Pages. So, even though you don't get many messages from me I am continuing to promote you and build video pages by category. It may take a while to do featured pages on the individual Musicians, as I want to do articles on the musicians especially upcoming groups. The featured artist pages will include famous groups and unknowns. This is a rather large file. This is a scan of a painting which I recovered from my Katrina Flooded residence over the weekend. It is a Watercolor Painting on Clayboard - The Scene is a pool room/game. The painting drawn onto the clayboard using water color pencil and the image was then painted in using water. Clayboard is a clay sized substance a lot like plaster of Paris which is coated on top of a wooden or other hard backing material. Since the color absorbs into the clay the top layer can be cleaned leaving the detail. Some of the actual color was removed from the edges of the painting from the water which reached it. This painting was originally hanging over the door frame when the storm hit. It was found on the floor under sheet rock that had fallen from the ceilings. It was still in the frame which had water damage. The painting being a very smooth surface was mounted close to the glass which did not break. The clayboard had been inserted snugly into a foam core board to hold it close to the glass. I believe that is what helped keep the water from doing major damage or seeping into the actual clay surface.

This image is stored as a jpg file and is 19kb before uploading. The original Scan, as I recall was taken at extremely high resolution and was over 300mb. After a series of processes the image was reduced to the much smaller size.

The drawing was done with \'Gel Ink\" which I am quite fond of. Being a rather new item in the art mediums art done in gel ink hasn\'t received the credit it deserves. So I will post some of these and hope you like them.

Remember, if you are already on my friend list at Meet the Artist at Yahoo 360, you can set a version of ths drawing as cell phone wallpaper.

This is a permanent water color which is very much like a stain, done on a canvas board. The canvas comes pre-primed (gesso) over a heavy cardboard backing. In this case the cardboard backing was removed because it was totally ruined. The frame was also very damaged. This painting had been hanging high on the wall at the time of the hurricane. Since this was a permanent watercolor the image was not removed by the water even though it was covered with ...let's call it "mud." We don't really want to think about what the mud was... it was "flood mud." This is one of what I call my whirlwind series. Being one of the earlier of the series it has the basic whirlwind. Later pictures in this series have had the whirlwinds in the back ground of the main images.

Make sure to get your drivers from your cell phone manufacturer or an authorized dealer.
Warning: Do not get your driver from a site that says "we'll give you a driver if you upload a driver". Uploading a driver is in most cases a direct violation of your end user agreements. Those who request this know this and don't care. But, once they have the software they can edit it and pass out drivers with viruses and worms. Know who you are dealing with whenever you install a driver. If you can't afford the driver just wait.

You can also upload your pictures saved to your yahoo photo albums to your cell phone without a driver. And there are many places to get stuff for your phone online for free.

But, look into your cell phone manufacturer's site and see what is available for your phone model. Also you can save about 15 dollars if you buy an assortment of different sized blue tooth adapters for your cables for about $5 and up depending on where you shop. Chances are that each time you need a special cable for a device someone is willing to sell you the cable for 19.99 - You don't want to go that route. Buy the cable adapter, and the money you save on cables you can use to get software.

This screenshot was edited in mspaint. The picture size is 65kb. The background was the selected desktop background selected on my computer. This is a simple technique easy to do even by those with older windows systems which are equipped with mspaint..

Fake Myspace Login link found in bulletins

Sometimes you just have to delete a friend because of their bulletins. The user was an educated person that had a simple page with pictures of family and friends and vacations. The bulletins, however, were all links to gift cards, ring tones, dating sites, porn sites, page trackers and Oh Yeah...FAKE MYSPACE Login Pages. Well, if you post bulletins that say meet hot chicks with links to porn and put me in your top spots, Then I probably am going to delete you anyway from my friends list.. But attempting to steal people's passwords is a ZERO Tolerance issue.

With the recent rash of bulletin hijackings it is possible that the posts were not made by that user. Then again the person who actually does this would lie if you asked them...wouldn't they? If the poster is innocent then their page won't get deleted and they will learn to look for "bulletins I posted" in the menu to make sure that no fake bulletins are being posted. And if that is the case they can re invite me as friends when the problem is cleared up. But it doesn't look good if the bulletins you claimed to post are spam and the one you claim you didn't post is a fake login page..

Additionally, be responsible if you post a link you got from somewhere test the links in your bulletin post after you submit it. Be the first to know where your links really go, especially if you choose the ever poplar feature, post this to bulletin. Also use a unique password at myspace that you don't use on other sites. Unscrupulous persons who have login sites may take the chance that you use the same passwords and email at myspace. They can easily generate a program that tries the password and email combinations that thy have collected to attempt to login at myspace or your email accounts.

Looking north at 5 Points in El Paso, Texas You can clearly see mountains. In a car, on city streets, you can reach those foothills in 5 minutes, if you know the route. On the way you will see more and more houses built into the side of the mountain partially. So the Route is important because ther is private property at the base of the mountain. On foot you can hike there in about 30 minutes if you are into walking uphill. This is very much in town to the right of this photo are banking, a Walgreens, restaurants, auto supply stores and many other establishments. There is green vegetation growing on the mountains, but most of it is cactus varieties. So, to climb the smaller hills is a bit intimidating, unless you are sure footed. The concept of recovering from a slip is huge if you fall on stickers. On this particular mountain patch there are what looks like large radio antenna, which is exceedingly important in mountainous areas.
