Virtual Villagers II -The Lost Children

debraford123game's Featured Game
Virtual Villagers - The Lost Children
"A couple makes thier way through the cave to the other side of the island and find some kids with missing parents who really need help surviving. We know how to make fire in this sequel. Adults teach the children more in this one. Children help collect items. After your collections are full the items count as research points. The moms no longer just sit around for two years after they have babies. They spend time taking care of the babies, which is much more realistic. We all know that mothers of newborns do a whole lot.

Your villagers can climb in this one which is pretty good since there are coconut trees on the island. Note - Pause on exit because time will continue when you close the game.

Featured Music Pages for Guitarists

From a Youtube Friends Bulletin:

"From:debraford123

Subject: Guitar player videos have been added to my website

Body:

Those of you who have guitar videos and are in my favorites list have been added to a playlist for guitar players at my website.

Other members in my favorites are found in my vlog and are also available at my Google Pages. So, even though you don't get many messages from me I am continuing to promote you and build video pages by category. It may take a while to do featured pages on the individual Musicians, as I want to do articles on the musicians especially upcoming groups. The featured artist pages will include famous groups and unknowns. Your chances of getting a featured page increases if you have posted links to your sites or some sort of background information online. If you haven't done this and wish to be featured you have to take the initiative to contact me at some point in time.

Added Note: You do not have to have a YouTube account to be featured. I also have an account at Live Video and Music Nation where I can be contacted, but not necessarily as soon as you might like . As long as the videos you have were uploaded and approved for embedding by a member of the band to a site which supports shared embeds your video can be considered. If you do not have any videos, but, have a band or music page and want to be reviewed it is still possible. I traditionally only accept emails through the network communities. If you aren't a member of any of the same networks as myself then you should consider being a member of the general network you want to be promoted on & send information to my network profile email. Random emails to my personal email account will be filtered out unless I have personally given you that information, and put you in my address book.

Send web site links, information on the band, maybe old flyers or copies of local news clippings or anything you think someone might be able to use to write an fresh story on your band, but only after I have acknowledged your first contact. You really should have a link to a site where I can hear what the band sounds like. My sites are for all ages, so bands with strong language or inappropriate lyrics won't be considered. Please understand, there should be with some sort of contact information so I can verify that you are not a poser.

Watercolor Painting on Clayboard Pool Room Recovered from Katrina

This is a rather large file. This is a scan of a painting which I recovered from my Katrina Flooded residence over the weekend. It is a Watercolor Painting on Clayboard - The Scene is a pool room/game. The painting drawn onto the clayboard using water color pencil and the image was then painted in using water. Clayboard is a clay sized substance a lot like plaster of Paris which is coated on top of a wooden or other hard backing material. Since the color absorbs into the clay the top layer can be cleaned leaving the detail. Some of the actual color was removed from the edges of the painting from the water which reached it. This painting was originally hanging over the door frame when the storm hit. It was found on the floor under sheet rock that had fallen from the ceilings. It was still in the frame which had water damage. The painting being a very smooth surface was mounted close to the glass which did not break. The clayboard had been inserted snugly into a foam core board to hold it close to the glass. I believe that is what helped keep the water from doing major damage or seeping into the actual clay surface.

Gel nk Drawing in scanned from sketchbook

This image is stored as a jpg file and is 19kb before uploading. The original Scan, as I recall was taken at extremely high resolution and was over 300mb. After a series of processes the image was reduced to the much smaller size.

The drawing was done with \'Gel Ink\" which I am quite fond of. Being a rather new item in the art mediums art done in gel ink hasn\'t received the credit it deserves. So, I will post some of these and hope you like them.

Remember, if you are already on my friend list at "Meet the Artist" at Yahoo 360, you can set a version of ths drawing as cell phone wallpaper.

Permanent_Watercolor on canvas Spiral Whirlwind - series

This is a permanent water color which is very much like a stain, done on a canvas board. The canvas comes pre-primed (gesso) over a heavy cardboard backing. In this case the cardboard backing was removed because it was totally ruined. The frame was also very damaged. This painting had been hanging high on the wall at the time of the hurricane. Since this was a permanent watercolor the image was not removed by the water even though it was covered with ...let's call it "mud." We don't really want to think about what the mud was... it was "flood mud." This is one of what I call my whirlwind series. Being one of the earlier of the series it has the basic whirlwind. Later pictures in this series have had the whirlwinds in the back ground of the main images.

Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays, originally uploaded by 123flickr.

This holiday card was made at Rock you originally as an embeddable gadget to post on webpages, blogs, comments.
After embedding the gadget into my 123friendster blog I just liked the look so I decided to use it as my Christmas card here. And I understand that everyone does not recognize Christmas as their holiday. I still want to wish peace and joy to all of you no matter what holiday you celebrate this season or in the near to distant future.
