My first 1st Gaia drawing

My first 1st Gaia drawing
Originally uploaded by 123flickr.

This is my first drawing of me with my pet "Gwee the Dragon". Gwee the Dragon, which can be found in the market place, was in the August 2006" Thank you letter" that I bought in the market place for Gaia Gold. Thank you letters are sent to members that contribute $2.50 to the site which they use to keep everything going. The site is free and contributions are totally voluntary. Items you get in the "thank you letters" are available for one month only. So the only way to get them is through the market lace or by trading with other members.

This was before I went to the salon and changed my hair. The hairstyle was my original choice when I first created my avatar. The outfit is not available at the Gaian shops. This drawing was done with "Sharpie" colored markers and Prismacolors' "Verithin" pencil colors on paper in a sketch book. Let's see how much I improve over time as we shall we.
Visit Gaia Online anime roleplaying community

This is my entry into the Avatar arena for next week

When you get there put debraford123 in the search over there to find my profile and journal. I'll be adding drawings to match the styles of my avatar entries.

Virtual Villagers II -The Lost Children

debraford123game's Featured Game
Virtual Villagers - The Lost Children
"A couple makes thier way through the cave to the other side of the island and find some kids with missing parents who really need help surviving. We know how to make fire in this sequel. Adults teach the children more in this one. Children help collect items. After your collections are full the items count as research points. The moms no longer just sit around for two years after they have babies. They spend time taking care of the babies, which is much more realistic. We all know that mothers of newborns do a whole lot.

Your villagers can climb in this one which is pretty good since there are coconut trees on the island. Note - Pause on exit because time will continue when you close the game.

Featured Music Pages for Guitarists

From a Youtube Friends Bulletin:

Date:February 23, 2007, 02:41 AM

Subject: Guitar player videos have been added to my website

Those of you who have guitar videos and are in my favorites list have been added to a playlist for guitar players at my website.

Other members in my favorites are found in my vlog and are also available at my Google Pages. So, even though you don't get many messages from me I am continuing to promote you and build video pages by category. It may take a while to do featured pages on the individual Musicians, as I want to do articles on the musicians especially upcoming groups. The featured artist pages will include famous groups and unknowns. Your chances of getting a featured page increases if you have posted links to your sites or some sort of background information online. If you haven't done this and wish to be featured you have to take the initiative to contact me at some point in time.

Added Note: You do not have to have a YouTube account to be featured. I also have an account at Live Video and Music Nation where I can be contacted, but not necessarily as soon as you might like . As long as the videos you have were uploaded and approved for embedding by a member of the band to a site which supports shared embeds your video can be considered. If you do not have any videos, but, have a band or music page and want to be reviewed it is still possible. I traditionally only accept emails through the network communities. If you aren't a member of any of the same networks as myself then you should consider being a member of the general network you want to be promoted on & send information to my network profile email. Random emails to my personal email account will be filtered out unless I have personally given you that information, and put you in my address book.

Send web site links, information on the band, maybe old flyers or copies of local news clippings or anything you think someone might be able to use to write an fresh story on your band, but only after I have acknowledged your first contact. You really should have a link to a site where I can hear what the band sounds like. My sites are for all ages, so bands with strong language or inappropriate lyrics won't be considered. Please understand, there should be with some sort of contact information so I can verify that you are not a poser.

Watercolor Painting on Clayboard Pool Room Recovered from Katrina

This is a rather large file. This is a scan of a painting which I recovered from my Katrina Flooded residence over the weekend. It is a Watercolor Painting on Clayboard - The Scene is a pool room/game. The painting drawn onto the clayboard using water color pencil and the image was then painted in using water. Clayboard is a clay sized substance a lot like plaster of Paris which is coated on top of a wooden or other hard backing material. Since the color absorbs into the clay the top layer can be cleaned leaving the detail. Some of the actual color was removed from the edges of the painting from the water which reached it. This painting was originally hanging over the door frame when the storm hit. It was found on the floor under sheet rock that had fallen from the ceilings. It was still in the frame which had water damage. The painting being a very smooth surface was mounted close to the glass which did not break. The clayboard had been inserted snugly into a foam core board to hold it close to the glass. I believe that is what helped keep the water from doing major damage or seeping into the actual clay surface.

Gel nk Drawing in scanned from sketchbook

This image is stored as a jpg file and is 19kb before uploading. The original Scan, as I recall was taken at extremely high resolution and was over 300mb. After a series of processes the image was reduced to the much smaller size.

The drawing was done with \'Gel Ink\" which I am quite fond of. Being a rather new item in the art mediums art done in gel ink hasn\'t received the credit it deserves. So, I will post some of these and hope you like them.

Remember, if you are already on my friend list at "Meet the Artist" at Yahoo 360, you can set a version of ths drawing as cell phone wallpaper.

Permanent_Watercolor on canvas Spiral Whirlwind - series

This is a permanent water color which is very much like a stain, done on a canvas board. The canvas comes pre-primed (gesso) over a heavy cardboard backing. In this case the cardboard backing was removed because it was totally ruined. The frame was also very damaged. This painting had been hanging high on the wall at the time of the hurricane. Since this was a permanent watercolor the image was not removed by the water even though it was covered with ...let's call it "mud." We don't really want to think about what the mud was... it was "flood mud." This is one of what I call my whirlwind series. Being one of the earlier of the series it has the basic whirlwind. Later pictures in this series have had the whirlwinds in the back ground of the main images.

Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays, originally uploaded by 123flickr.

This holiday card was made at Rock you originally as an embeddable gadget to post on webpages, blogs, comments.
After embedding the gadget into my 123friendster blog I just liked the look so I decided to use it as my Christmas card here. And I understand that everyone does not recognize Christmas as their holiday. I still want to wish peace and joy to all of you no matter what holiday you celebrate this season or in the near to distant future.

updated post - Bejewled play it online or download Bejeweled 2

Update 2012: The game is no longer on my site. Nor are the downloads available there... boy oh boy everything changes ( including this entire blog posting) Okay, I have bought this game so I can play it even offline. There is a bejewled Blitz at Facebook apps and you can get a download of the full game through the game page I do believe. So, this particular blog entry is probably seeming to be idiotic and senseless after I deleted all the links and pictures etc. so you may wonder why I did not just delete the entry. Well ........ there is an archived copy in stored pages saved by search engines with a lot of broken links and the 404 link responses. So, the only way to get rid of the broken stored links is to just update the page and let it archive again .... see ... I'm not completely crazy.

Okay, I do not have a game space anymore... that is history sign of the internet times - a - changing. So the links will be slowly removed strating in 2012. And boy are they all over the web. I still support the same games and all of my reviews will be slowly changed omitting the prior affiliations...because things just change. So ignore, links to game download trials from me, until, I announce it in a new blog dated 2012 or later. The links at the bottom of this post should be still good....hahaha...well there are a bunch of pages at my google site pages that site which are

Bejeweled 2 :

Download the Installer for the 60 minute trial of Bejeweled 2 (sorry not here)
DEBWEBGAMES at 360 profile and blog are also gone as there is no such thing as a 360 blog anymore. The new yahoo blogs and profiles require to repost everything and so there are hundreds of entries which may or may not be reposted by myself elsewhere in 2012

See videos: Video playlist can be found at my YouTube Profile

This is an excellent event and if you haven't seen it placing a search for "Hoop Apparatus" should turn up some nice videos. The video originally posted here has been deleted. Unfortunately, there are many people who have posted videos without authorizations and the accounts get deleted leaving empty video players.. But, if you like unique and wonderful performances you should try to find some video on this performer or this category:

Downloading Cell Phone Pictures to Your Computer

Make sure to get your drivers from your cell phone manufacturer or an authorized dealer.
Warning: Do not get your driver from a site that says "we'll give you a driver if you upload a driver". Uploading a driver is in most cases a direct violation of your end user agreements. Those who request this know this and don't care. But, once they have the software they can edit it and pass out drivers with viruses and worms. Know who you are dealing with whenever you install a driver. If you can't afford the driver just wait.

You can also upload your pictures saved to your yahoo photo albums to your cell phone without a driver. And there are many places to get stuff for your phone online for free.

But, look into your cell phone manufacturer's site and see what is available for your phone model. Also you can save about 15 dollars if you buy an assortment of different sized blue tooth adapters for your cables for about $5 and up depending on where you shop. Chances are that each time you need a special cable for a device someone is willing to sell you the cable for 19.99 - You don't want to go that route. Buy the cable adapter, and the money you save on cables you can use to get software.

This screenshot was edited in mspaint. The picture size is 65kb. The background was the selected desktop background selected on my computer. This is a simple technique easy to do even by those with older windows systems which are equipped with mspaint..
